The Jacksonville Jaguars will be hosting a number of the top quarterback prospects in the 2014 NFL draft on Wednesday, but they will also be taking a close look at one of the top playmakers in this year's draft later in the week.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Clemson wide receiver Sammy Watkins will be heading to Jacksonville on Thursday for a visit.
Jacksonville is believed to be considering adding a quarterback with the No. 3 overall pick, or one of the top pass rushers available -- Jadeveon Clowney and Khalil Mack -- but Watkins would be a great Plan B if either of their top options were off the board.
Watkins would instantly improve the team's receiving corp and give it a true No. 1 pass catcher on the outside for whoever lines up under center, as Gus Bradley looks to spark a big turnaround for the Jaguars in 2014.

Jacksonville has plenty of holes on the roster, so it will look into all of the top prospects available before deciding who will be the biggest help to its team.
The Jaguars have also scheduled pre-draft visits with Buffalo linebacker Khalil Mack, Auburn tackle Greg Robinson, Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel, Fresno State quarterback Derek Carr, Louisville quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, Central Florida quarterback Blake Bortles, Eastern Illinois quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo and UCLA linebacker Anthony Barr.
