Questions loom about the health of running back Chris Johnson, who signed with the New York Jets on Wednesday, but the former Pro Bowl talent isn't concerned about rumors of declining skill and health.

In fact, Johnson says everything is going to be 'fine' with the Jets, despite a somewhat crowded backfield.

Johnson suggested in a recent interview that all of the doubt cast upon him in recent months has put a chip on his shoulder and he's ready to prove the doubters wrong.

"I have a fresh start. Now I am going to go out there with a chip on my shoulder," Johnson told the Tennessean's Jim Wyatt in a phone interview Wednesday. "I know a lot of people are doubting me. I want to prove everybody wrong who has doubts in me."

Statistically Johnson struggled during the 2013 season, and at 28 the former Tennessee Titans running back is hitting the age where so many other talented running backs have fallen from grace. But Johnson has proven himself to be one of the more durable players in the NFL and appears frustrated his skill level is being questioned.

The Jets are expected to use him and Chris Ivory in a '1-2' punch backfield.
