The Baltimore Ravens know there are a handful of teams looking to improve their draft position. Hoping to make use of the supply and demand, it appears Baltimore is seriously considering trading down in the 2014 NFL Draft.

That's the word from insider Ian Rapoport, who says NFL teams believe the Ravens will make a move with their first-round selection.

Rapoport's tweet goes on to suggest that it's possible the 49ers could be interested in the Ravens' pick, as San Francisco has been continually rumored to desire an improved first-round selection.

Currently, the 49ers own the 30th pick while the Ravens hold the 17th selection, so that's a significant jump for San Francisco -- assuming it's a move they'd pursue.

What's unknown about the Ravens pick is the price tag. While the 17th pick isn't exactly a prime selection spot, it's still going to be costly to acquire.

Other teams have been rumored to want a move up in addition to the 49ers, though no team has officially been linked to the pick at this point.

With a relatively deep draft pool, the Ravens are likely looking at capitalizing on the stock of young talent for a pick they're not in desperate need of.
