The Chicago Blackhawks are offering no new details on right wing Martin Havlat's lower body injury while saying he is day-to-day.

Havlat has played in all 64 games this season after missing 105 the previous three years due to shoulder injuries. But his status is in question after he went down in the second period of Sunday's 5-1 loss to Colorado. Team spokesman Brandon Faber said he did not practice Tuesday. The next game is at home against Carolina on Wednesday.

Losing Havlat for an extended period would be a big blow for the Blackhawks. They are second in the Central division at 36-19-9 and are eyeing a playoff run. With 21 goals and 36 assists, he is tied for second on the team with 57 points and is having one of his best seasons.
