Blackhawks get Bolland back, Burish after break

CHICAGO (AP) -- Chicago Blackhawks center Dave Bolland expects to play Wednesday night against the St. Louis Blues, his first game since undergoing surgery Nov. 10 to repair a herniated disc in his back.

Bolland has played in only 13 games this season. He had a career-high 19 goals and 47 points last season and was a key player as the Blackhawks advanced to the Western Conference finals.

Chicago will be playing its first home game after finishing a 5-3 road trip that took them to both coasts.

Winger Adam Burish, out since the preseason after surgery on a torn knee ligament, practiced Tuesday and hopes to be ready to return after the Olympic break.
