PITTSBURGH (AP) --Sidney Crosby is on top of the hockey world again heading to Sochi.
The Pittsburgh Penguins star leads the NHL in scoring and is a vital part of Canada's bid to defend the Olympic gold medal it won in Vancouver four years ago.
Crosby delivered the golden goal in the final, an overtime score against Ryan Miller of the United States that he called a once in a lifetime moment.
The last four years for Crosby have proved challenging. He missed the majority of two seasons while dealing with concussion-like symptoms. He has returned to form in the last 12 months.
His 67 points are tops in the NHL and the 26-year-old says he's looking forward to helping Canada win it all on foreign soil.
