-ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Wayne Rooney and Manchester United take on European champion Real Madrid in front of what is expected to be a crowd of over 100,000 at Michigan Stadium.

-LONG POND, Pa. - Jeff Gordon is coming off his biggest win of the season. He hopes to keep the winning streak going this weekend at Pocono Raceway.

-AKRON, Ohio - Sergio Garcia takes a three-round lead into the third round of the Bridgestone Invitational.

-LEXINGTON, OhioTeam Penske's Helio Castroneves leads the season standings, 13 points ahead of teammate Will Power with Indianapolis 500 winner Ryan Hunter-Reay third heading into qualifying for the IndyCar race at Mid-Ohio.

- EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. - Father Patrick is expected to be the favorite when a field of 10 trotters goes to the post in the $1.2 million Hambletonian at the Meadowlands.

-WASHINGTON - American Donald Young tries to reach the second ATP final of his career, facing second-seeded Milos Raonic of Canada at the hard-court Citi Open.
