Anton Stralman is headed to the Tampa Bay Lightning after signing a five-year, $22.5 million deal, the team announced on Tuesday.

Stralman was an integral part of the New York Rangers run to the Stanley Cup Final last season.

Lightning defender and fellow Swede Victor Hedman said he looks forward to pairing up with the 27-year old.

While averaging 19:24 of ice time last season, Stralman had a plus-nine rating and missed only one game for the Rangers.
