Philadelphia Flyers center Vincent Lecavalier will miss at least two weeks with a lower-body injury, the team announced Monday.

Lecavalier appeared to injure his left foot when blocking Montreal Canadiens defenseman Mark Streit’s shot during a 4-3 shootout loss to Montreal on Saturday.

He stayed in the game and took the team's first shootout attempt. Lecavalier played 16:10 during Saturday’s game and was seen wearing a walking boot on his left foot after the game.

He has a goal and two assists in three games this season, while averaging 15:37 of ice time per game. His 4:32 of ice time on the power play leads all of Philadelphia forwards.

The team also announced defenseman Samuel Morin, the 11th pick of the 2013 NHL Draft, will be out for four-to-five weeks with a broken jaw, suffered while playing for the Rimouski Oceanic in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.

The Flyers (0-2-1) play at home Tuesday against the Anaheim Ducks (1-1).
