The Philadelphia Flyers have recalled Shayne Gostisbehere from AHL affiliate Lehigh Valley, the team announced on Friday.

Gostisbehere recorded two assists over three games with Lehigh Valley.

The 21-year-old was named a finalist for the Hobey Baker award and MVP of the NCAA Frozen Four after helping Union College win the national championship earlier this year.

The Flyers selected Gostisbehere in the third round of the 2012 draft.

Gostisbehere could make his debut in the Flyers' home game Saturday against the Red Wings.

Philadelphia is 2-3-2 this season.
