Sabres record a franchise-low 10 shots in blowout loss to Maple Leafs
With only 10 shots on goal in their 4-0 loss, the Sabres recorded their fewest shots ever in franchise history. This marked the forth shutout loss of the season (already!) for Buffalo, and the team is not hiding their disgust when their game play. Both right wing Drew Stafford and defenseman Tyler Myers called their performance against the Leafs “an embarrassing effort” in postgame interviews.
"Something's got to change," Myers said in postgame interviews. "This is probably the worst we've had it."
The Sabres have recorded two wins to start the season -- at this point last year, they only had one -- but appear to be a team destined for the cellar this year.
