Friday's game between the New Jersey Devils and the Washington Capitals was scoreless going into the third period and had been fairly even the entire way.

About halfway through the final frame, Caps goalie Braden Holtby tried to play the puck to his teammate, and, well ... the execution could have been better, to say the least. Instead of clearing it, Holtby sent the puck right onto the stick of Devils forward Mike Cammalleri, who buried it for what would end up being the only goal of the game.

Yeah...Holtby's going to want that one back.
