The Columbus Blue Jackets have activated defenseman Ryan Murray from the injured list, the team announced on Thursday.

Murray has been out with a high ankle sprain since suffering the injury on Feb. 6 against the St. Louis Blues. He did not play in Thursday's win over the Redskins.

The 21-year-old defenseman has played in 75 games as a pro, with four goals and 18 assists. He was the No. 2 pick in the 2012 draft.
