The 21-year-old defenseman has played in 75 games as a pro, with four goals and 18 assists. He was the No. 2 pick in the 2012 draft.

Following a seven-game losing streak, the Blue Jackets have won three of their last four games. They are 29-34-4 on the season.
The Blue Jackets host the Edmonton Oilers on Friday.
