St. Louis Blues right winger Ryan Reaves is not among those who need a doorknob and string to pull out a loose tooth.

After a hard check courtesy of Blackhawks defenseman Brent Seabrook during Sunday's game in Chicago, Reaves used his fingers to pull out his own tooth on the Blues' bench.

Reaves, 28, is in his fifth season with St. Louis, where he has spent his entire NHL career. He has 12 points this season.

The Blues entered Sunday's game with 103 points, good for third place in the Western Conference and one point ahead of the Blackhawks. Both teams have already clinched playoff berths.

Projected NHL playoff matchups if season ended today
