New York Rangers defenseman Dan Boyle practiced Friday after he was injured in the third period of his team's Game 7 victory over the Washington Capitals on Wednesday. The team was off on Thursday.

Boyle was hit up high by Capitals defenseman Brooks Orpik midway through the third period. He remained on the ice for several moments, visibly woozy, before skating off to the locker room under his own power. He did not return to the game.

Orpik will not be suspended, Matt Larkin of The Hockey News reports

Rangers coach Alain Vigneault told reporters Boyle is "all good." Boyle did not speak with the media after practice.

Rangers fourth-line forward Tanner Glass did not practice Friday. Vigneault said Glass was given "an extra maintenance day" and will likely play in Game 1 against the Tampa Bay Lightning

The Rangers' Eastern Conference finals series against the Lightning begins Saturday afternoon in New York.
