Five teams expressed interest in Patrick Kane following investigation
At least five teams have contacted the Blackhawks to express their interest as trade partners if Chicago decides to part ways with Patrick Kane, reports Mark Lazerus of the Chicago Sun-Times.
The right winger is under investigation for allegedly raping a woman at his Hamburg home.
Kane, 26, is entering the first year of an eight-year, $84-million contract that was signed in July 2014. He has not been charged with a crime or been suspended from the team.

On Aug. 6,The Buffalo Newswas the first to report that Kane was under investigation for an alleged sexual assault that took place on Aug. 2. Kane has reportedly met with New York authorities who are investigating the rape allegations against the Blackhawks star.

The Blackhawks issued a statement on Aug. 6 in response to the allegations saying, “We are aware of the matter and are in the process of gathering information. It would be inappropriate to comment further at this time.”
Blackhawks training camp is set to begin on Sept. 18 at the University of Notre Dame's Compton Family Ice Arena.
