Alex Petrovic and Evander Kane dropped the mitts not once, not twice but three times in Tuesday’s meeting between the Panthers and Sabres.

The Panthers defeated the Sabres soundly, 7–4, but the fights, however, went the way of Buffalo’s winger. I imagine fans in Western New York are not huge fans of their sniper scrapping three times in a match.

Kane taunted his adversary after winning the second of three bouts, but it took place while his team was losing 5–2.

Kane already has his fair share of critics. We will see if Tuesday goes down as a night he fought for the team or one where his antics further proved immaturity. One things Kane’s haters cannot gripe on, though, is his ability and willingness to get his hands dirty.
