Philadelphia Flyers forward Sean Couturier is out for the remainder of his team’s first round series against the Washington Capitals, the team announced Friday.

He is expected to miss two weeks in total.

Couturier sustained an upper-body injury in Thursday’s Game 1 matchup with the Capitals when he was leveled by Alex Ovechkin against the boards and exited the game soon afterwards. He did not return to the game.

Couturier, 23, had 11 goals and 39 points through 63 games in the regular season.

Washington took a 1–0 series lead with a 2–0 win in Game 1.
