Rangers broadcaster takes puck in face, doesn't miss a beat

"My blood tastes good!"
You have to be a tough man to play in the NHL. And as New York Rangers' rinkside reporter John Giannone proved tonight, you have to be a tough man to cover it.
Giannone was parked in between the benches of the Islanders and Rangers tonight, offering color commentary for the MSG Network when Marc Staal's backhanded clearing attempt sailed over the boards and caught him directly in the nose.
With blood streaming down his face from a large gash on the bridge of his nose, and Rangers' trainer Jim Ramsay working to staunch the flow, Giannone went live to explain what happened. Pretty gory stuff.Guessing he won the respect of both benches with that showing.
