Olympic gold medalist Ryan Lochte joined SI Now on Tuesday afternoon to chat about his preparation for the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro with Maggie Gray.

Lochte has changed up his training regiment since the last Olympics. He credits the move from Florida to North Carolina and changing his eating habits as part of the biggest reason for his “old-man” strength heading into 2016. Lochte will turn 32 on Aug. 3.

A few months back, Lochte and Gray discussed his $1,000 bet with Michael Phelps that the all-time most decorated Olympian would come out of retirement. Phelps made his return but has yet to pay Lochte back. On Tuesday, Lochte said he does not care if he gets his money or not and that his rivalry with Phelps is one of the best in sports.

Lochte is also friends with NFL running back DeAngelo Williams. The two met for the first time in a hallway at the Arena Pro Swim Series stop in Charlotte.

The 2016 Olympics in Rio begin on Aug. 5.
