With five new medals in hand, Katie Ledecky returned home to a warm welcome at Dulles Airport.

The 19-year-old swimmer and star of the Rio Games was greeted by friends and fans and former teammates as she disembarked, wearing all five of those medals: four golds, and one silver (she learned the trick from Michael Phelps at SI’s cover shoot).

“It’s pretty crazy,” Ledecky told the Washington Post. “It’s great to see my friends and to celebrate [this] moment with them. They’ve been a big part of [it] the last couple of years.”

At the Olympics, Ledecky swept the 200, 400 and 800 meter freestyle events, helped the U.S. to gold in the 200 meter freestyle relay, and silver in the 100 meter freestyle relay.

Not bad.
