The Group of Death has certainly lived up to the hype so far.

None of the four Group G members has been eliminated as the final day of group play kicks off, and none has locked up a spot in the knockout stage yet either, thanks to a pair of 2-2 draws in the Germany vs. Ghana and Portugal vs. USA games. Here's how the final day of Group G and Group H shape up:

Group G: USA vs. Germany

Germany is a -165 favorite to pick up the win against the United States. The USA is going off at +750 to win the game outright, +220 to play to a draw and +130. The total is set at 2.5 goals.

Even at big underdog odds, one sportsbook was reporting 70 percent of the betting action on the United States.

“Call it sucker money or patriotic money, but it keeps the sportsbook managers awake at night with the Americans playing so well,” said Jack Randall of

The United States was seconds away from punching its ticket into the Round of 16, but a brilliant cross by Cristiano Ronaldo led to a goal that drew the Portuguese level at the death. Now, the USA must earn at least a draw or get help via tiebreakers to advance.

A draw would send the two teams through to the knockout round. If one team gets three points, the loser could still go through depending on the Portugal vs. Ghana result.

Group G: Portugal vs. Ghana

Portugal is going off at +120 on Thursday against Ghana. Ghana is a +190 underdog while a draw would pay +300. Portugal is a -155 favorite over Ghana at +130. The total is set at three goals.

Due to a huge hole in goal differential, Portugal must go all out in hopes of a blowout win. Ghana, meanwhile, is only two goals behind the United States and can advance into the knockout round with a win and help from Germany.

A draw in this game would eliminate both teams from the World Cup, so there should be plenty of offensive fireworks if the game is knotted up late.

Group H: Belgium vs. South Korea

Belgium is priced at -140 to win as the favorite over South Korea. South Korea is going off at +115 as the team is +400 to win outright and +275 to force a draw. The total is set at 2.5 goals.

Belgium has already clinched a spot in the knockout stage, but should still be plenty motivated in this game to earn a result and win the group to avoid a likely matchup against Germany in the first round.

South Korea followed up its impressive defensive effort against Russia with a disastrous one in a 4-2 loss to Algeria last Sunday.

Group H: Algeria vs. Russia

Russia is a favorite to win on Thursday at +110. Algeria was priced at +230 and the draw will pay +250. The total in this game is 2.5 goals.

Russia's focus on defense has hindered its offense in this World Cup as the team has scored only once in its first two games. The Russians now need a win over Algeria to advance into the final 16.

Meanwhile, Algeria can clinch a surprising and impressive trip into the next round with a draw or win in this one. The Fennec Foxes were 1500-1 to win the World Cup before action began.
