Arsenal has agreed to a long-term deal with right back Calum Chambers, the team announced Monday.
Chambers has been with Southhampton since he joined the team's academy at the age of seven. The 19-year-old joined the club's first-team squad during the 2012-13 season and made his Premier League debut the next season. Chambers played in 22 matches last season for Saints.
The terms of the transfer were not announced by the team.
Chambers is currently captain of England Under-19 squad.
Chambers will likely make his debut for Arsenal at the Emirates Cup 2014 on August 2 and 3.
Arsenal have also recently signed forward Alexis Sanchez from Barcelona, right-back Mathieu Debuchy from Newcastle and goalkeeper David Ospina from Nice.
