Everton has agreed to a season-long loan that will bring Chelsea wing Christian Atsu of Ghana to Goodison Park, according to a report over the weekend from The Liverpool Echo.

The deal is subject to medical tests, which are expected to be performed next week. The 22-year-old, who signed a five-year deal with Chelsea from Porto last summer, had been identified by Blues boss Roberto Martinez to replace Barcelona star Gerard Deulofeu.

Atsu had previously spent the season on loan at Dutch side Vitesse Arnheim, making 28 appearances while scoring five goals.
