Germany midfielder Marco Reus will be out for at least four weeks after sustaining a left ankle injury in the team’s Group D Euro 2016 qualifier, the club announced.
Reus was injured in Germany’s 2-1 victory over Scotland on Sunday.
The team said that Reus has a partial tear and stretching of ligaments in the ankle and is expected to undergo rehab.
Reus, who also plays for Borussia Dortmund, missed the World Cup after suffering an injury to the same ankle. Borussia Dortmund starts the Champions League group matches against Arsenal next Tuesday.
