Suarez is currently serving a four-month ban given by FIFA after he bit Italy's Giorgio Chiellini during a World Cup match on June 24. Suarez was also banned for nine of Uruguay's competitive matches, but is allowed to play in friendlies.

On Wednesday, he scored two goals for Barcelona's B side in a friendly against Indonesia's under-19 team.

Uruguay manager Oscar Tabarez will make the final decision on the roster for the two October friendlies next week.
