On Wednesday, Barcelona suffered a 3-2 defeat at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain in group play of the UEFA Champions League. The match was played in Paris. Neymar and Lionel Messi scored for Barcelona, but goals from Marco Verratti, David Luiz and Balise Matuidi gave PSG the edge. 

Barcelona finished second in La Liga last year, only three points behind champion Athletico Madrid.
