Real Madrid takes on Athletic Bilbao on Sunday in La Liga. Real Madrid comes into the game sitting in the No. 5 spot on the La Liga table with a record of 4-0-2 on the season. Athletic Bilbao comes in with a record of 1-1-4 and sits in the No. 16 spot on the table.

Los Blancos also played a Champions League match midweek. In an away match, they defeated Ludogorets 2-1 to collect three more points in Champions League group play. 

In La Liga play this season, Cristiano Ronaldo leads the team with 10 goals. Gareth Bale has four goals, while new arrivals Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez and James Rodriguez have two goals and one goals, respectively. After its match against Athletic Bilbao, Real Madrid plays Levante and then a Champions League fixtures against Liverpool before its tie with Barcelona in late October.
