Major League Soccer has released its 2015 slate of opening weekend matches as well as each club's home opener. 

The league’s two new expansion teams, Orlando City SC and New York City FC, will play each other on March 8 in Orlando.

MLS Cup champion LA Galaxy takes on the Chicago Fire on March 6 to open the season. Other matchups include Sporting Kansas City taking on the New York Red Bulls and Seattle Sounders FC against the New England Revolution. Both games will take place March 8.

D.C. United, FC Dallas, Houston Dynamo, Philadelphia Union, Portland Timbers and Vancouver Whitecaps FC each have their home openers on March 7. San Jose opens their new venue, Avaya Stadium, on March 22 against the Fire. Toronto won't open its home slate until May 10 because of renovations to BMO Field.

New York City FC will play its first home match on March 15 against defending Eastern Conference champion New England Revolution.
