The U.S. men's national team got off to a hot start against Chile on Wednesday thanks to Brek Shea.

In the sixth minute, Besler lifted a pass over the left flank to Shea, who Jurgen Klinsmann deployed on the left side of the midfield in a 3-5-2 formation. Shea collected Besler's pass and smashed the ball with his left foot toward the far post and into the back of the net.

The goal is Shea's third for the U.S. men's national team.

Just three minutes later, Chile's Roberto Gutierrez scored on a free header, which drifted past U.S. goalkeeper Nick Rimando.
