Real Madrid's rivalry with Barcelona may drive international headlines, but Los Blancos' most hated opponent just may be city rivals Atlético.

Entering the Madrid derby on Saturday, first-place Real held a seven-point league lead over third-place Atlético. Playing at home at Estadio Vicente Calderón though, Atlético came out swinging.

Tiago opened the scoring in the 14th minute for Los Colchoneros with a right-footed shot outside the box that found its way to the bottom corner. Atlético doubled its lead just four minutes later after a beautiful buildup in the attacking third led to this Saúl Ñíguez bicycle kick and sent the home fans into a frenzy.

Guilherme Siqueira drove through the left side of the box before cutting the ball back at the end line. He picked out Ñíguez on a little chip, which Ñíguez hammered past Iker Casillas in style from six yards out.

Atlético went on to win 4-0.
