The U.S. men's national team concluded its winter training camp on a high note Sunday, defeating CONCACAF foe Panama 2-0 on goals by Michael Bradley and Clint Dempsey.

Bradley opened the scoring on an Olimpico, bending in a corner kick with his right foot in the 28th minute for the 13th international goal of his career.

Dempsey tallied his 40th off a slick through pass from Gyasi Zardes. Playing on his home StubHub Center field, Zardes marked his first U.S. start with a defense-splitting ball that Dempsey latched onto before taking a touch to get Panama goalkeeper Jaime Penedo out of position. He then tapped home in the 37th minute to double the lead

A pair of Americans received their first caps, with D.C. United's Perry Kitchen and FC Dallas' Matt Hedges coming on as second-half substitutes, helping the USA finish off its first win since Sept. 3 over the Czech Republic. It snapped a five-game winless skid.

The Americans were coming off a 3-2 loss to Chile in which they led on two occasions – on goals from Brek Shea and Jozy Altidore – only to fall to a Chile side playing without the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Arturo Vidal and Claudio Bravo.
