Barcelona forward Luis Suarez scored twice in the first half of the team's UEFA Champions League round of 16 first leg against Manchester City.
The game marks Suarez's first in England since he departed for Barcelona prior to this season after spending three years with Liverpool.
Suarez's first goal came in the 16th minute, giving Barcelona an early 1-0 lead.
Barcelona crossed the ball into the box, and Suarez found the back of his net with his left foot after the ball took a fortunate bounce off Manchester City defender Vincent Kompany. City goalkeeper Joe Hart watched motionless as the ball flew by toward the far post.
Suarez's second goal was set up initially by Lionel Messi, who dribbled through the middle of City's defense before finding Jordi Alba outside the box. Albi sent in a low cross toward the center, and Suarez netted his second goal of the day.
The goal put Barcelona up 2-0.
Suarez also scored twice against Joe Hart at this summer's World Cup, where Uruguay defeated England 2-1 in group play.
Last season, Barcelona defeated Manchester City 4-1 on aggregate in the round of 16.
