Former Real Salt Lake defender Carlos Salcedo and Chivas USA striker Erick "Cubo" Torres are among the players on Mexico’s roster for its upcoming friendly against the United States men’s national team.

The USMNT will host Mexico on Wednesday at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas, at 8:30 p.m. ET (Fox Sports 1, UniMas).

Both Salcedo and Torres are currently with Chivas de Guadalajara, although Torres is on loan and will join the Houston Dynamo after the Clausura ends.

Veteran Club America striker Oribe Peralta and Cruz Azul defender Francisco Rodriguez are among the more experienced players on the entirely domestic-based roster, with European-based players such as Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez, Giovani and Jonathan Dos Santos and Hector Herrera not called in due to the game not falling on an official FIFA fixture date.

Mexico is currently 18th in the world in the latest FIFA ranking, boosted by wins over Ecuador and Paraguay. The USA is 27th.
