Carlos Tevez's superb season at Juventus hit a new high on Tuesday, as the Argentinean striker earned a penalty kick, then buried it to put Juventus up 2-1 over Real Madrid in the first leg of the teams' Champions League semifinal.

Leading the breakaway, Tevez found himself one-on-one with Dani Carvajal streaking into the box, and the Real Madrid defender responded with a clumsy attempt at a tackle that got little of the ball and sent Tevez tumbling to the turf.

Tevez then stepped up and blasted his spot kick past Iker Casillas to give the Italian side a 2-1 lead at home.

The goal is Tevez's 29th of the season in all competitions, including seven in the Champions League.
