Manchester United has acquired Dutch striker Memphis Depay from PSV Eindhoven for a transfer fee in the range of $38-45 million, according to BBC Sport.
Depay led the Dutch league in scoring last season with 21 goals as PSV won the league title.
BBC Sport reports Manchester United beat out other top clubs, including Liverpool and Paris St-Germain, seeking the 21-year-old 2014 World Cup breakout star's services.
Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal has previously worked with Depay while in charge of the Netherlands national team during the World Cup, and he joins fellow Netherlands internationals Robin van Persie and Daley Blind at Old Trafford.
Depay will join United as soon as the June transfer window opens, pending a team physical.
