Barcelona defeated Bayern Munich 3-0 in the first leg of their semifinal matchup at Camp Nou.

After a scoreless first half, Barcelona's Lionel Messi took over with two goals. He also assisted Neymar's stoppage-time goal.

Barcelona is in the driver's seat heading into the second leg with the opportunity to play in the Champions League final on the line.

The winner will play either Juventus or Real Madrid in the final. Juventus defeated Real Madrid 2-1 at home, and the second leg will be played on May 13 in Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid.

Barcelona currently sits atop La Liga with 90 points, four ahead of Real Madrid. Bayern Munich currently leads the Bundesliga with 76 points, 11 ahead of VfL Wolfsburg. The Bavarians already wrapped up the Bundesliga title.
