Germany's third tier might not be the home to the best soccer on the planet, but it certainly is home to one of the contenders for goals of the season.

Rot-Weiss Erfurt's Carsten Kammlot delivered a forward-flipping scorpion kick golazo during a 3-1 loss to Dynamo Dresden Thursday. At the time, the goal pulled Kammlot's side even, but first-place Dynamo Dresden scored two late goals to seize the three points.

That's all secondary to Kammlot's effort, which needs to be seen to be believed. With a cross coming from the right, Kammlot got in front of his defender and timed his acrobatic effort perfectly. He connected with the back of his right heel while doing a full flip forward, leaving goalkeeper Janis Blaswich helpless as his shot found the upper right-hand corner of the goal.
