Time and again Hulk has proven to have a powerful blast, and Valencia now knows that more than anyone.

The Brazilian forward unleashed a vicious blast from more than 20 yards for his second goal of the game as Zenit took a 2-0 lead over Valencia in the Champions League group opener in Spain on Wednesday.

Hulk, who scored against the U.S. men's national team in their Sept. 8 friendly, had already scored with his left foot with a nice finish in the ninth minute, but it was his tally just before halftime that dropped jaws around Estadio de Mestalla.

Running onto a free ball headed down by Artem Dzyuba about 25 yards out, Hulk uncorked another left-footed shot that was earmarked for the back of the net.
