Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 500th career goal for club and country on Wednesday. 

The score came in the 29th minute of Real Madrid's UEFA Champions League group stage match against Malmo. 

The goal also ties Ronaldo with Raul for the most career Champions League goals for Real Madrid, with 66. Ronaldo has 81 total Champions League goals, now four more than Lionel Messi. 

Ronaldo scored a hat trick in Real Madrid's Champions League group stage opener earlier this month.

Ronaldo later scored a second goal, tying him with Raul for Real Madrid's all-time club record of 323 goals.
