Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy scored in his 11th straight English Premier League match on Saturday, setting the record for most consecutive games with a goal in the league’s history.

In the 24th minute against Manchester United, Vardy took a through ball from Christian Fuchs following a fast break, and from the right side of the box, he ripped a shot to the bottom left corner of the goal, beating goalkeeper David De Gea to put Leicester up 1–0.

With a goal in his next Premier League match, Vardy would tie the scoring streak in England’s first division of 12, set by Sheffield United’s Jimmy Dunne in 1931–32.

Leiceister’s next EPL match is on Dec. 5, against Swansea.
