Xabi Alonso doesn't always score goals, but that does not mean the Bayern Munich and Spain midfielder is not capable of coming up with an incredible strike. 

That's what he did Tuesday, putting Bayern ahead of Darmstadt 98 in the 40th minute of their German Cup (DFB Pokal) clash with an absolute laser from long distance. The 34-year-old received a looping clearance some 30 yards from goal, and his touch had the ball sit up for him on a bounce. Xabi Alonso took a wicked hit with his right foot and sent a screamer to the far upper 90 to give Bayern the lead.

The goal was Xabi Alonso's first of the season and his first since an April 21st tally against Porto in the Champions League. Watch the incredible strike below:
