Arsenal winger Alexis Sanchez will be sidelined with a hamstring injury until Jan. 10, manager Arsene Wenger told Sky Sports News on Monday.
Sanchez, 27, has been out since November with the hamstring injury. He has missed his team’s last four matches.
The Chile international, who has been with Arsenal since 2014, has scored nine goals in 20 appearances this season.
Arsenal defeated Manchester City 2–1 on Monday, as Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott netted goals for the Gunners. With the win, the club is now 4–0 without Sanchez. Its other wins in Sanchez’s absence came over Olympiacos, Sunderland and Aston Villa.
Sanchez will now likely miss matches against Southampton, Bournemouth, Newcastle United and Sunderland.
