Arsenal entered halftime with a 2–0 lead over Manchester City thanks in part to an impressive strike from Theo Walcott.
In the 33rd minute, Walcott took a pass from Mesut Özil at the left side of the box, took the ball outside, and ripped a right-footed shot past keeper Joe Hart into the bottom right corner of the net.
The perfectly-placed shot gave Arsenal a 1–0 lead at the time, and Walcott his third goal in Premier League play.
12 minutes later, Oliver Giroud scored Aresnal’s second goal of the game on an impressive left-footed shot.
