Ronaldinho escaped a scary situation in India when a traffic pole fell right in front of a car he was traveling in.

The Brazilian international was in Kozhikode, India, on Monday to inaugurate the Sait Nagjee Cup tournament, which begins on Feb. 5. As Ronaldinho’s car began to drive down the road, the pole came crashing down and the car came to a stop. Police and others helped pick up the pole so the car could continue on the road.

The former Barcelona and AC Milan star is the brand ambassador of the tournament, which features clubs from around the world.
