Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez had another big performance for Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday, scoring twice in a 3–0 win against Hannover 96.

The Mexican striker continued his resurgent season with a brace that moved him to a remarkable 21 goals across competitions this season.

His first came with Leverkusen up 1–0 in the 63rd minute after Stefan Kiessling​ received the ball in the box, split defenders and drew a foul. Chicharito converted at the penalty spot.

Goal No. 2 came with three minutes left in the game after a cool finish in space past Ron-Robert Zieler, sealing the victory.
