Transfer deadline day is famous for its car interviews, when players and managers are ambushed by media at various stadiums, and three years ago U.S. winger Brek Shea got a taste of the action. 

Shea had signed with Stoke City from FC Dallas, a landmark moment in the career of the then-22-year-old player on the rise. Of course, the move didn't work out all that well for Shea, who appeared in five matches for the Potters and was loaned out to Barnsley and Birmingham City. He returned to MLS with Orlando City last season, which was an injury-plagued one, and he'll aim to rediscover the form that made him a target of Premier League clubs and made him a regular call-up under Jurgen Klinsmann.

At the time in 2013, though, Shea rivaled the likes of Harry Redknapp under the Sky Sports cameras in the parking lot and had a seemingly exciting road ahead in England. Re-watch his car interview (one of very few words) below:
