FC Dallas's Toyota Stadium will host the second leg of the U.S. Under-23 national team's Olympic qualifying playoff against Colombia, U.S. Soccer announced on Tuesday.
The first leg will be March 25 in Barranquilla, Colombia, before the two teams head to Frisco, Texas, for the March 29 second leg. The match will be broadcast on ESPN2 at 9:30 p.m. ET, following the senior national team's World Cup qualifier against Guatemala.
The U.S. is in the playoff after failing to secure one of CONCACAF's two automatic bids for the Olympics. Andi Herzog's squad fell to Honduras in the semifinal round, as Honduras and defending gold medalist Mexico grabbed the region's berths. A win in the third-place game against Canada secured the USA's place in the playoff. The Americans haven't competed in the Olympics since 2008.
Colombia is aiming to be South America's third entrant in the competition, where it would join host Brazil and qualifying tournament winner Argentina.
The remainder of the 16-team field is set, with Denmark, Germany, Portugal and Sweden qualifying out of Europe; Fiji qualifying out of Oceania; Algeria, Nigeria and South Africa qualifying out of Africa; and Iraq, Japan and South Korea qualifying out of Asia.
