Cristiano Ronaldo struck early for Real Madrid on Saturday, sending in an impressive goal in the third minute to give his team a 1-0 lead over Athletic Bilbao.

Athletic would strike back just seven minutes later, evening the score at 1–1 on a goal from Javier Eraso.

Ronaldo also scored Madrid’s fourth goal in the 4–2 victory.

Madrid currently sits third in the La Liga tables, four points behind division leading Barcelona.
