Before their match against Roma on Wednesday, Cristiano Ronaldo and his Real Madrid teammates mimicked Barcelona star Lionel Messi’s trick penalty kick that sparked controversy over the weekend.

In the video below, the teammates discuss how they would set up the trick play—in which Messi set up to take the kick against Celta Vigo but instead passed to Luis Suarez, who scored the goal—if they were ever to try it.

Marcelo suggests Alvaro Arbeloa would be the one to play Messi in the scenario. Ronaldo says Arbeloa would shoot the ball himself, but would trip. The group finally settles on Arbeloa stepping up for the kick and passing to Ronaldo.
